How to Import Lightroom Presets? Desktop + Mobile

However, most users don’t know how to import and download Lightroom presets. To make their work easier and improve their editing experience, I will guide you through it thoroughly.

Import the Lightroom presets into Lightroom Classic

There are many ways to import presets into Lightroom Classic. Some of these are as follows:

Method 1: Install presets using the “Import presets” option.

1. Before installing presets, download their file in .xmp and .lrtemplate formats.
2. Open Lightroom Classic and click on “Develop Module” in the upper right corner.
3. The default screen is on the left side of the development module.
4. Click on a preset to “import” it.
5. This will take you to the location where you have downloaded the preset file.
6. Select the preset file and install it.
7. Then you will see an ‘Import button’ to import Lightroom presets.
